Who is this programme for?

The programme designed for professionals who want to expand their skillsets in health and biomedical innovation to become successful entrepreneurs.

It is particularly applicable to major industries such as Biotechnology, Medical Devices, Life Sciences, Research, Hospital & Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals.

The programme is designed for mid to senior healthcare professionals and fresh graduates or early healthcare professionals, who want to:

  • Understand the requirements for business ventures in the complex and highly regulated life sciences sector

  • Learn biomedical entrepreneurship, with a focus on the commercialisation of academic discoveries and inventions

  • Gain new knowledge on how to kickstart a career in health and biomedical innovation


The programme comprises 8 modules that cover the key elements of the Biomedical industry and innovation, as well as technologies & market opportunities, to equip participants with the Biomedical Entrepreneurship skills/understanding from academia to industry.


  • *This programme is primarily self-paced online with some live sessions conducted by programme faculty. The availability of post-session video recordings is at the discretion of the faculty members, and Emeritus or the institute cannot guarantee their availability. We have a curated panel of distinguished industry practitioners who will conduct weekly live doubt-clearing sessions.

  • **Assignments will be graded by industry practitioners who are available to support participants in their learning journey, and/or by the Emeritus grading team. The final number of quizzes, assignments, and discussions will be confirmed closer to the start of the programme.
